Literature Text

I told you once that I placed my dreams in a mayonaise jar on my dresser. You told me I was foolish for dreaming, and that you only ever wished and hoped, because dreams were just meant to be dreamt, but wishes were meant to come true and hopes to be fulfilled.

You told me you used to have a home. It was dark and lonesome and the hallways were filled with combwebs and smelt of cat piss and the closets were overflowing with ghosts and skeletons. But atleast there you were home.

I asked if you ever thought of me when I was gone away. You responded, Do you think of air when it's gone? Of course, I said. Of course.
